Martha Welsh joined Pinterest as Chief Strategy Officer in 2023. She oversees strategy, scaled operations and global partnerships for the company. Previously, she spent more than 11 years at Google, most recently leading global product strategy and go-to-market for Google Commerce and Payments. In this role, she led strategy and operations for Google Commerce, including shopping, travel and payments. Prior to her work at Google, she was at Goldman Sachs, where she advised consumer and retail companies on M&A, capital raises and corporate strategy. Martha previously served on the board of directors of GoJek (now GoTo), a ride-sharing and food-delivery company based in Indonesia. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Princeton University, New Jersey, and a Master of Business Administration from The Wharton School in Pennsylvania.
