And today, we’re taking it a step further, turning those insights into a custom colour line-up inspired by our 2025 trends, setting the tone (and the hues) for the year ahead.

Predicting tomorrow’s palette

We start with what we do best: using our data-backed trendspotting methodology and cutting-edge visual search technology to spot what will be really big in the year ahead in our annual Pinterest Predicts 2025 trend report. From there, we zeroed in on search terms sparking colourful conversations—think ‘cherry red fashion’ and ‘soft yellow aesthetics’. Then, we mapped the emerging trends and colour clusters against first-party data. Looking at actions such as saves, we were able to see which colours were driving engagement over time. The result? Five trend-driven colours ready to take over Pinterest—and culture at large.
