Wanji Walcott joined Pinterest as Chief Legal, Business Affairs Officer and Corporate Secretary in 2022. Wanji oversees the ethics and compliance, legal, corporate affairs, public policy and trust and safety teams at Pinterest. Previously, she was Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel at Discover Financial Services, where she led the legal organisation, ESG programmes and government relations, and co-led the company’s innovation initiative. Prior to that, she served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel at PayPal. Wanji holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Howard University, Washington DC, and a Juris Doctor from the Howard University School of Law.
