It’s been a momentous year for the LGBT community. An unlikely herobrought down DOMA, a St. Louis Rams defensive end came out as gay, and a bearded drag queen won Europe’s biggest music competition. Currently, same-sex marriage is legal in 20 U.S. states, including Washington D.C., with Utah being the most recent.
We have a lot to be proud of. Toronto kicked off World Pride 2014 last week, and Pinterest is celebrating with a pub crawl in San Francisco tonight.
