At Pinterest, our mission is to bring everyone inspiration to create a life they love. People come to feel inspired—and you can't feel inspired if you don't first feel safe. This is why we’re intentional when drafting and enforcing our content policies to create a safe, positive place online for Pinterest users.
Today we published our latest Global Transparency Report, covering the work we’ve done from January through June 2023. We are continuing to invest in our policies, products and partnerships to support the safety and wellbeing of all of our users. At Pinterest, we want to lead by example, from introducing new tools and features to keep teens safe on the platform to pledging to create more positive wellbeing outcomes for young people.
This past half, we made it easier to report content, boards and accounts and expanded the options the person filing a report could select. The transparency report also highlights how Pinterest continues to work with third-party experts to inform our policies and content moderation practices, and how we are developing technologies to fight policy-violating content on the platform.
First published in 2013, our annual transparency report now features more than 400 distinct data points highlighting our content moderation and enforcement practices as we continue to evolve our approach. Since then, our policies and practices have not only advanced but also bolstered our commitment to creating a safer, more positive place online. We are focused on providing transparency into our efforts to keep Pinterest safe and will continue to iterate on our reporting to provide helpful insights.
